Pedal Power ACT is powered by people who love bikes. From fixing wheels to making big ideas happen, our volunteers are at the heart of everything we do.
Whether you ride every day or just love supporting active travel, there’s a place for you in our community. You don’t have to be a member to volunteer—just bring your passion and we’ll help you get involved.
Here are just a few ways our volunteers make an impact:
🚲 Restoring donated bikes at our Bike Library
🎬 Assisting with events like our Election Forums, film nights and community campaigns
💨 Piloting trishaws in our Cycling Without Age program to help older Canberrans feel the wind in their hair
💬 Sharing their know-how at our monthly social nights
📂 Lending a hand with admin and behind-the-scenes support
👩🏫 Supporting our bike education courses for all ages
